From
Our Friends at Ski.com
In 1986, when I lived and
worked – well, ski-bummed in Aspen, we had
a day when it snowed 22 inches overnight.
Since then, I can’t remember a day when the
skiing quite reached that apogee. Until
Saturday. We’ve had FEET of snow here
in Aspen, and all the Rockies are reporting incredible
snowfalls. Check the Ski.com
snow report for the latest snowfall totals from
ski areas throughout North America.
Really, the skiing this past weekend was unbelievable;
even better than years ago since skiing is so much
easier and better with the new technology.
I knew that I just couldn’t put the quality
of the experience in words, so I made a small film.
View
the film and witness the incredible conditions
for yourself.

AVH
eyeing sites in and out of Aspen
If
Aspen Valley Hospital relocates, the new facility may or may
not be in the city of Aspen, according to John Sarpa, president
of the hospital board.
Sarpa
presented an overview of the hospital’s 2004-08 strategic
plan to the Aspen City Council on Tuesday and confirmed the
board’s desire to look at other locales before moving
ahead with what could ultimately be a $40 million renovation
of the existing facility.
